Last February the meeting in the Czech Republic of our Erasmus + project "Smart Wellness" took place. It went from February 11 to 18, 2018 in Pacov with our partner school Zakladní Skola Pacov.
On this occasion 11 students of 4th ESO C and D and 4 staff from IES Blas Infante participated in the mobility and were hosted by Czech students, who will travel to Córdoba from May 15 to 22 of this year along with 10 more Czech students.
On Sunday, February 11 we left Malaga airport and spent that night in Prague. On Monday 12, the Czech staff guided us through the impressive Czech capital starting with a guided bus tour and followed by a visit to Prague Castle.
On Tuesday, in Pacov we were welcomed in the Hall of the City Hall Castle. The Czech students welcomed us and introduced the activities they were carrying out within our “Smart Wellness” project, specifically that about Women scientists and nutrition “We are what we eat”. From our part, Spanish participants presented videos and presentations to publicize our country, our region, our city, our project in Córdoba and the state of development of the different products. We also did a tour of the school, a workshop to choose the logo of the project, a guided tour by the Czech students of the town of Pacov and a basketball competition.
On Wednesday we attended the reception of the mayor of Pacov and the activity of the Czech Intelligent Tree of women scientists. Finally we visit the historic Tábor and the Husitas Museum.
On Thursday, February 15, we had the workshop on App Inventor, where the Spanish students explained to the Czech students how to make a translator from English to Czech and they also created a game. The interaction between students in both countries was very productive and they managed to make both applications in less time than expected. Then, we made a competitive game with Kahoot about women scientists. After we had lunch in the school canteen, we went to Humpolec, where we visited the Ethnographic Museum and the Bernard brewery, which makes gluten-free beer.
On Friday 16, we continued with App Inventor, explaining the details of our restaurant application that consider special diets. The Czech students and teachers learned to edit the contents of the App to the particularities of the Pacov area, which will focus on the Czech application. Later we enjoyed doing different artistic activities in the Club of the center. In the following activity, Spanish participants made salmorejo toasts and serrano ham without gluten. The students and teachers learned to take care of the production of products taking care of cross contamination in such a way that it was suitable for the consumption of our coeliac student. Finally, we celebrated a farewell party with an unbeatable atmosphere.

On Saturday the 17th, we did a tour of Pelhřimov, Telč and Jihlava accompanied by the Czech participants. In Pelhřimov, we visited the Museum of Records. In Telč, a World Heritage Site, we went up to the castle tower and saw the famous main square. Finally, we toured the streets of Jihlava and were able to do some shopping at their shopping centre.
Sunday was our return to Spain. Our Czech friends were kind enough to accompany us to Prague and finish visiting the city before saying goodbye at the airport.
It has been a week full of shared enriching experiences. Our partners have been excellent guests delighting us with all possible attentions. We want to thank the students, families and Czech teachers for making us live such a complete and rewarding experience.
